Esperanza Center

For more than 45 years the Esperanza Center has provided a wide range of services to new immigrants to the Baltimore Metropolitan Area, including social services, referrals to appropriate resources, employment counseling, and English as a Second Language classes.

BUP Interns at the Esperanza Center will primarily work in the English Language Center, assisting the program director and doing one-on-one ESL tutoring and ESL classroom instruction. A basic knowledge of Spanish is required.
